Himarë · Albanian Riviera
Taste of Himara is a small family kitchen making gliko: whole fruit preserved slowly in its own syrup, the way it has been done on this coast for generations.

Our kitchen
Every jar begins with fruit picked at its own moment — figs in late summer, bitter oranges in winter, cherries when the hillside turns dark red.
We cook in small batches, skim by hand, and let the syrup find its own thickness. No pectin, no colours, no shortcuts. A spoonful with coffee, cold water on the side: that is how Himara welcomes you.
